Subject: Poser 5 update from German version

Hi, unfortintly I have the german poser 4 version, does anyone know wether it is possible to update to the english poser 5 version, if so where could the update be bought

I asked curious labs and been told , that it would be no problem( im on german poser myself) I ordered my update at www.softline.de or you can order at curious Labs direkt Price included handling and all is about the same

I had asked zhe people from softline and was told an update from german to english version would not be possible ? but I guess them from curious lab should know better. thanks

I wonder about this, too. Especially whether the resulting version might be english or german...

dont belive that any of the old p4 is used in p5. think the update is the same as the full p5 , only verifying the serial number.And the result will be the us-international program

you can order the Poser 5 (english) update with your german Poser 4 serial. You will recieve a german version (if you want it) as soon its ready. Chris

Heh, but whats the problem? Im on a German version of Poser 4 too, and Im glad to get now the English Poser 5!!! Think about it: Patches for foreign versions follow months later. See the German Version of Pro Pack, it was shipped 7 Months after the English Version. All Tutorials are in English. There are only advantages, exept the language:-) Niko

I have talked with EgiSYS some days ago and they said you can get a german copy of Poser 5 when it comes out with no more cost. So why dont get it? You can keep the english version but you have a manual in your language :) My english isnt that good to understand all the stuff in the english manual :) Chris

Bugd hin Bugs her ... wenn ihr Poser 5 wollt dann habt ihr halt nen paar bugs ... aber ich werde P5 von anfang an nutzen :) Ich hoffe die kommen langsam aussem Quark das Zeug rauszuschicken :) Chris
