Hello everyone, here's my first post in the photography forum. I've been a Renderosity member for a few months now (in the Rhino3D forum) but just realized that there is a photography forum here also.

This was taken a few months ago along a cliff on the Snake River in southern Idaho
about 30-45 minutes before sunset. I really like the fact that you can see the wind
in the water.

I have a few other panoramas that I've taken, just let me know if you would like to see
them. The other two are about 2500-3000 pixels wide, so I might need to resize them
before posting.

You're welcome, and this pic is beautiful esp. for making successful use of the great light... You're using a panoramic camera..?

Thanks for all of the great comments!

Doruksal, this was taken with a Sony DSC-S75 digital camera.
It's about 6 or 7 or 8 images that were 'stitched' together using
editing software. No postwork except for the stitching and cropping.

Hopefully the masses won't be offended because it's digital. Again,
I'm new here and am not sure if this is a 'film only' forum, or anything
goes.

Can someone refresh me on what the max upload size is for an image?
My other two pictures are 214k and 240k.

Thanks, Matt

Wow. That's beautiful. I'm gonna have to get a tripod. As for digital, there are a number of us shooting digital. Oh, and welcome. -daveh

Welcome to the Forum, MattMc_3! That's a beautiful view! Good job on the stitching, too. Oh, don't worry. This forum is not limited to traditional photography. Anything goes is more like it. :-) (*

Thanks everyone.
Dhastings - no tripod, just held the camera and rotated it.
Starshuffler - I'd like to take credit for the stitching, but the software I used
automated everything. This was made with the default settings. I just input
the original images and it output the final panorama. Pretty incredible it can
do that.
Mysnapz - I couldn't believe how barren southern Idaho was when I moved
here, but if you're willing to look around there really are some pretty places.

randyrives, sorry for not responding sooner... I used Panorama Factory to stitch the images together. Matt
