Back to work today after 11 days off (UGH!)During lunch I Went over to the lake which was covered in algae again. A storm must of churned up a bunch of this junk in the water. Took this from the footbridge over the lake (about 10 ft above the water). Yeah... I know... there ALOT goin on here! The branch near the tire kinda reminded me of an octopus tentacle. I also see a dollar sign ($) sorta near the bottom. Guess I'm in a chaotic state of mind...need another vacation!!! Ah well! BTW I messed with the colors in the next pic... L8r!

I gave this one a duotone look. Changes the whole feel of the pic...now the algae looks like sand! L8r!

Wow.....it does look like sand...nice images, but they also make me very sad....the ignorance of humans toward our environment is atrocious.

I am, therefore I create.......

cool image. I like (?) how the center of the tire remains dark, while everything else went green. after looking at the duotone, the color now looks like green sand, and I can't see it as algae anymore! And that "branch" has what looks like a claw on the end of it, creepy.

Nice work on the duotone, it gives the image a very graphic almost abstract feel & it does look like sand!

It's sad how people take nature for granted. :-( Thanks for sharing these interesting shots. (Yeah, I agree about that sand thingy!!!) (*
