New image...taken in July on a foggy morning at a lake near my house....there is another version of this in the gallery if you are interested in seeing the difference in the two... Taken with my Nikon N90S, a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 lens and Fuji Superia HQ100 film...scanned and post worked in PS.

Hey, it's another it-looks-like-a-painting-photo! Beautiful, Mich. :-) Amazing how the same image evokes different moods... (*

Anything for you PapaSmurf....... Love, Smurfette And yes this is from a print...still can't get the transparency adapter to work on slides or negs...but we'll save that for some other gripe session... Uhh.....all that is is the diffuse glow filter used maybe a little to liberally...I love that filter and can be heavy handed with it.... :~) The one in the gallery is exactly the same except some playing around with the color balance a bit.

Dreamy. Can almost 'hear' the silence, and (to me) it doesn't look painterly. Surreal - but not painterly - if that makes any sense. really pretty work, and not too heavy handed =)

Nice postwork Michelle, I love the one in the gallery, I think the colours really add to the mood of the image.

Very nice. Peaceful looking place, I can see myself in the boat with a fishing rod hoping the fish wouldn't bother me :)

Very nice. The original has a somber feeling while the other has a dreamy quality.

Beautiful. Of the two, I think I prefer the warmer feel of the one in the gallery. -daveh

Like the post work here really adds to the image nice to see the orig you can see how the post work has lifted it. :O) If its hands up for the vote this one gets it over the gallery post. I feel the colours here work better for the subject. :O)
