Subject: Can I customize the eyebrow shape in poser?

alanpong ( ) posted Wed, 04 September 2002 at 7:42 AM · edited Tue, 24 December 2024 at 11:59 AM

poser 4 + pro pack -> Figures -> characters- Female
I can customize the head shape easily. Great!
However, I think the eyebrow hair of each character is too thick, too long, too bulge and too plastic feel.

Can I customize the eyebrow shape in poser?

Thanks.
Rgds.
Alan

You could make them smaller in the textures. Vicky has "lbrow up" "rbrow down" "worry right" etc etc " too plastic feel." ??? How about an Image as I think you are doing something wrong

I think : if the area is thick and bulge, no matter how small the texture is, the eyebrow area is still thick and bugle. Thus, i want to looking for method in poser to flatten the bugle area and to thin the thick area.

sorry, where can i download Vicky?
(not found in female characters.)

You can Purchase Victoria (Vicky) at Daz3d I think your problem might be with the upper eyebrow setting.

Tasmanet (and alanpong) there IS no "upper eyebrow" setting in the default poser female. This is not a question about Vicky. The default P4NW (Nude woman) HAS indeed bulgy eyebrows, and there's nothing much to do about it, other than to get hold of another texture than the default one. There has recently been a bunch of new textures for P4NW uploaded to Free Stuff. Try one of those, I think they have better eyebrows :o)

tasmanet,
yeah... from the wireframe pic. of victoria 2.0:
http://www.daz3d.com/images/faq/techtip/wire-face.jpg

the eyebrow area is flat compared with that of all built-in poser characters.

ernyoka1,
i tried to flatten the bulgy eyebrow area in 3ds, but the result is not good. i will try the free texture as you mentioned.
if there is no other free solution or similar product, daz3d's would be the choice....

thanks all.

well, there used to be a couple morphs in the free section here, that flattened and shrank the eyebrows on eve and posette. I can't seem to find them at the moment, but I'm sure they still exist. It's just a matter of finding them... ~DM

yay, found some, but can't find the readme that goes with them, so the hunt continues... BTW, is this what you had in mind?

CrystalDragon, yes, it is flatter and much better than the original eyebrow.
