A number of my images are coming up red Xs are these gone or will they eventually come back?

I've noticed the same thing and was wondering if this is temporary as well!

I'm missing an image too. Looks like a general problem, about 60% of the Bryce Hot20 is broken.

It's a side effect of the server migration. No files will be lost in the end. They may just go missing for a minute. Tim

I lost one yesterday and another one today, but the first one hasn't come back yet. I guess it will take a bit before they come back.

I don't feel so bad now. I tried reloading two of my graphics that went awol only to have yet another one disappear this morning.

I am not shocked anymore about whatever happens on this site. One of my last pix has gone too. Did you say : "Bizarre" ?.. How bizarre is what you just said ! (LOL) Never mind the b..l.ks, said my pals. I'd rather apply to myself that shape of mind. After all... _I've learnt too much by experience that some technical problems in our world can be "diplomatic" ones. That's all I know. Maybe either it's totally correct & true though, that there's some real migration-problems on the Server. But now let's get used being allowed to add the "maybe" thing when we talk.

I'm losing more images every day and none are returning! How long is this going to continue? I'm wondering if we are now uploading our renders into the void! LOL!

Yeah I just posted a message on the Photography site loads of my pics have gone missing, must be a server problem also despite a fast Broadband connection things seem slow to me.

My cuties left me too LOL, will they ever come back ? =(

I have random graphics missing as well. Tim said they would "be back up in a minute" ... didnt realize a rosity minute was alot longer than a normal one. =) Im sure this will be fixed soon. Im only missing 6 out of 44 graphics. That really isnt bad it could be alot worse.

It looks as if images are missing throughout the entire community that were posted between the 27th and 30th of August... dunno if this helps, just thought I would point it out... peace

I noticed the the Poser Hot 20 is about 50% MIA too. And it looks as if the dates go further back, to around the 23rd. Is it going to get worse? ~Gennelle

Goes back WAAAAAAAAAAAAY farther than that. My self-portrait from April 30 is also missing. Plus numerous others.

The one I lost some 3000 minutes ago was posted September 2001 (and not back yet...).

Yup - me too - furthest back is Nov. 2001. Too many to re-upload all in one evening - about 5 or 6 total. Got a couple back up there tonight. -dg

I'm short 10 pictures...I'll just wait a week or two and see if they come back, if not, I'll axe em. They range from 3 weeks old, to 6 months old...basically, a nice even spread from the time I've been here.

Hey I have you all beat, out of 4 images posted, 3 have disappeared with no signs of returning. Ahhhhhhhh ... There is a huge evil beastie devouring the galleries: The Image Muncher Munster! Could this be the evil doings of Daz's newest Dragon Release????? ;]

My images made a spontaneous reappearance. Not saying they will stay, but, for better or worst, they have returned.

They will all show back up eventually, its just a process we are running to move the umteembajillion (thats a technical term) gigabytes of gallery images to their new home. Its just taking awhile. Roy

I am personally not worried. All my graphics are backed up on my system (I'm not silly enough to use you as my storage area). For all the naysaying I've read on the forums, you folks at Renderosity always seem to come through for us and with a willing and good natured attitude toward even those most cranky among us (well, with some exceptions, which I can understand). It's a free service to me (aside from the money I spend on the marketplace) so I have nothing to complain about. Good luck with the move! There's always blips in any move...it's part of the rules.

Ok this is day 2 of the missing pictures in my gallery. Reminds me of a song: " Where oh where have my pictures gone, oh where oh where can they be? " Oh and the missing picture are from a week ago, but the older ones are fine.

This will be a 2-3 week process, i think we are in day 5 please be patient with us as we move all the data. thanks tammy
