I just bought the MilDragon. When I attempt to extractinstall the dragon I get an error message which indicates that there was an error copying the MilDragon.obj file and that it failed the CRC check. I've download the file three times in case it was corrupted during transfer. Each of the files was the same.

I looked in the geometries folder and most of the obj files seem to be there except for the dragon.

Anyone had this problem? I've e-mailed DAZ and haven't heard from them yet. (They're probably all home waiting for POSER 5)

hmmm. try downloading and installing just the freebie Dragon. Then everything sould work. :) Anton

It's funny you mention this. I've been looking for someone else who might have had the same problem, but this is the first one. I downloaded the file twice early last week and got the same message six times when trying to extract from both the files. I sent DAZ four messages regarding this problem and finally today I received a message with a new link to download. This download worked fine. My files wouldn't let me extract the following files: BlMilDragon.obj MilDragonBodyB.jpg MilDragonHeadB.jpg MilDragonHeadM.jpg TBludgeonM.jpg I think their system wasn't working well that day and I caught it at the worst time. I'd email them and see if you can get a new download link. Send it to: reba@daz3d.com. They're usually pretty good at fixing any problems you might have.

Those are the same files which won't extract for me. PHOENIXRISING: I had the DAZ freebie dragon installed when I first tried to setup up the MilDragon. I got the same error, I thought that ther emight be some sort of conflict between the LE version and the normal version so I moved the directory. It didn't help.

I just downloaded the mildragon and got the same CRC errors as whbos. Anybody got it sorted yet, or heard from DAZ? Jack

They will give you a new link to download the file. I got an e-mail Sunday from Reba@Daz, which gave me a link to a different copy of the file. That seemed to fix everything. I think what happens is that the file that you download from DAZ is an individual copy, so that if it turns out to be corrupted, you get the same corrupted file even if you download it more than once.
