Subject: Blink flash - why?

Does anybody know what causes the blink flash and how to fix it? When my character blinks, the skin between her eyelid and eyebrow gets lighter for several frames. I'm using Vicky2, and I thought it was just stretching my texture strange, but I made the skin in that area all the same color and it still does this. Any help, ideas?

It might be the eye white poking through the lid. Is the face over morphed or the eyes or head rescaled?

That isn't it. It's just the texture getting lighter or something. Here's an example. You can't see what I'm talking about very well, but when animated, you see it very clearly.
