Subject: Vue4 vs Bryce5?

I dont have either Bryce or Vue and I am trying to determine how I decide which to buy. What does one do much better than the other? Apparently Vue is superb with foliage, what about Bryces strengths? Thank you. Pinto

If you haven't used either I would think that Vue would be easier to learn to use. They are very different and frankly the things I've seen made in Bryce 5 aren't particularly exciting. A friend of mine that has both Bryce 4 and 5 said there really isn't as much difference as you might expect. Vues skys and foliage are better. The lighting is better or at least easier to set. The finished product seem clearly superior with Vue. My friend created scenes in both Bryce and Vue and it was no contest. Vue was better. But some people still love their Bryce so its all more a matter of personal tastes I suppose.

I have both .May be the two are best. But if i must choose i will choose VUE :more natural colors, easy moving, rotating, sizing tools, best trees and plants, loading poser file(working perfectly for me even some has problems wih it),fast rendering, etc

I have both also, but really what I see in Vue is amazing. You do have to get use to slightly different interfaces, but the 2 are simialar, it is the results at the end that matter the most to us, and Vue has performed beautifully. I agree with martial. Hope this helps. Sharen

i use both i love the sky's and material and objects but i find bryce5 is easyer to use i just wish that bryce5 and vue4 were more compatible. Here is somthing to chew on for awhile les put the ultimate graphics program together take the best feature's of bryce5 and vue4 and add poser into the mix and presto what do you have tell me what you think of that .

Uhh, deadman67, this thread is over a year old. ;) About your suggestion, It would be nice but unfortunately you would have add all the price tags together along with the features. Rich
