Well, for a first day with P5, I have to say I'm impressed. Im sure there is MUCH more to learn to get the renders looking nicer.

Er, like adding eyebrows. DOH!

My first impression of P5 is awesome. Getting the shadows around the clothing edges doesn't have to be done postwork now, the mesh bends much nicer without near as many deformaties, the texture is much easier to manipulate with the node system, the models are more realistic on facial features, the window render.... and on and on.

AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! I want my Poser 5! ;_; ok, I feel better now... I wouldn't have even noticed there wasn't eyebrows. The shadows on her face looks like smoothed out eyebrows (is that a shadow, or is that postwork?) ~DM

That's a shadow. The only postwork was smoothing out the texture line between the body and head / fixing a missing area on the clothing (same problem with conforming that P4 had) / and the highlight on the hair with axion lense flare filter (I suck with the lighting in poser).

Is that a pre-made hairstyle that comes with P5 or did you style it yourself? If you did, I think it's one of the best hairstyles I've seen anyone make with Poser 5 yet. Very nice image indeed. :) SnowS Hoping his pictures are worth 1001 words.

Online Now!

Yeah I noticed that about the conforming clothing too. One thing I did notice though is the shoes though conform better than in P4. So maybe we won't always have to pose without shoes or cut the pic off at the ankles. LOL P4 kind of felt like playing Barbies with those blasted shoes. You always got cool shoes with her but either you couldn't get them on or they didn't stay put. LOLOL Great pic by the way. Anyone figure out how to give poor Judy some more eyelashes? Longer that is.

Hair was prefab standard hair. Didn't mess much with it in the hair room.
