It's cool how her skin is almost transluscent kind of. did you do this somehow or is it the lighting?

MadRed ( ) posted Sun, 19 March 2000 at 9:42 PM

Is this pure Poser? Very nice, esp. lighting.

Okay...this is great, but I hope your open for suggestions, because I am about to offer one :) When I first saw this, I thought the wrap was actually a continuence of her hair, and I thought, "Gee, that's a little too transparent." Then I read the comments and discovered that it's a wrap. My suggestion, then, is to make the wrap a different color so idiots like me know for sure what we are looking at. Maybe make it a subtle blue, so we can assume her eyes are blue too and she's matching? Darth_Logice

I like the contrast in textures, the wall is great too.

Absoultely superb picture. I look forward to reading "Critical Mass" Paul

Beatiful image! A suggestion: the moon looks very close, the details are too sharp and at level with the excellent wall texture. Perhaps some bluring would fix that. Nandus

Very ethereal.

Wow, I didn't think I'd get so much feed back. Thanks. As for the wrap, I was originaly trying to make it a Tartan or(plad). But I got fistrated by the uvm map, so I kept it golden. I agree though it blends a bit too much. As for the moon that was somthing I didn't think of, I'll keep it in mind for the next time I used it. The sofwhere I have been using is typicaly a combo of Poser, and 3DS Max 3.1 I love the renderer, and in my opinion it is one of the best modeling programs I have used. (A bit pricy though.) The quality is worth the cost. I'm so happy you all like it and look forward to geting more imput as I work on the begining of (Critical Mass) and please be patiant for the download page on my websight. The sight is being designed, and there are alot of other things going on. Thanks again, -Gabe-

The translucent tones in the skin is a slight fog effect with a really week glow filter on it. and jeff, Thanks your right I've tried to corect that 3 times now, and keep screwing it up. english is not my first language and I am also dyslecsic, so spelling is a bit akward. I'll try to get it right next time. If you catch other mistakes like that, let me know. -Gabe-
