This medicine bottle is currently being developed with Carrara v1. The image will be incorporated into a Pharmacist fact folder. The fact folder's sole purpose is to recruit civilian Pharmacist into joining the Air Force. (Propaganda) Hopefully they'll be purchasing the latest version of Carrara for our shop in the near future.

Nice work! I especially like the fact that the label isn't quite square; it makes it look much more real. I'm not an expert on pills, but these look a little too tall to me. I'm sure there are all sorts of shapes and sizes, though, so these may be perfectly realistic. Maybe for color, though, you might think about some of those two-tone capsule type of pills. Just a thought.

Two tone capsules with the little balls of medicine inside of them (you could even make them full of smiley face balls ha ha ha!!). I'm sorry, couldn't resist. You're image looks great. -Kixsupercool.gif

Looks good, I wonder how it would look with the toon shader, esp if it was going to be produced for print. The only thing odd is the way the back of the bottle looks like the back of a lable, it does not give the illusion of being transparent like the front side does. Also, the lids usualy have some instructions for the child proofing, like "Push down and twist to open". I think it is an all arround great job! I just moved from down the street from Randolph AFB, I was working at FT Sam.

A new rendering with a couple suggested changes. Sorry Kix, I didn't have time to making the "Smile face" pills, but I will. Thanks for the input. --Ashley3D

WOW! What a difference those changes made, the pills in the bottle fix the trans, and the texture of the background is great! Good work!

Very nice! How about creating an imprint on the pills? Still it looks great. I cannot believe the Air Force cannot afford to buy C2. If you need some financial advice, tell them you are buying a hammer. You will soon get your software. Mike

Your second version is awesome! I agree with your change of angle, and the pills spilling out add a nice random touch of reality. VERY cool! I agree with WeaBeast, the pills need some texture. Either an imprint, or some noise in the bump channel. Something to make them not look too plastic. How about a glass of water next to it? Have fun, and push for C2. The GI renderer would also make this "real", not rendered.

Terrific Job!!! Outstanding!!! The bottle, label and top look like a photo. If you can, you should fillet/round the edges of the pills. Most pills do not have such "sharp" edges.
