Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 31 9:45 am)
Oh RATS, I thought that Poser 5 WOULD "copy paste" the way I read this... I always wished Poser could copy-paste an object or part in a scene... copy or duplicate... it SAYS copy and paste in Poser 4... has anyone ever been able to copy and past something in Poser? Lyne
Life Requires Assembly and we all know how THAT goes!
Sorry for the false alarm, LOL. But sure, you can copy/paste in poser, at least, as LD says, the dial settings. Say you have a poser cube you scaled and set in position, and you want another beside it. Just select the cube and ctrl-c it, then open another cube and ctrl-v it. It'll go to the same size, scale and position as the 1st one. Can be useful at times. mac
The only thing I could suggest regarding >>>installation<<< is that you do NOT install OVER Poser 4. Install Poser 5 in its own directory. Poser 5 allows easy linking to your Poser 4 runtime directory. This also allows you to continue using P4 normally while you learn-survive P5. Other than that, have plenty of Chez-Its, gin and tonic for the experience AFTER installation. But, if you're lucky, your registration will go as smooth as mine did... those were the days. ;-) casamerica

hmmm.... Am currently going through the forums collecting material for my 'I Installed Poser 5 and Survived It' text file. All contributions are gratefully accepted. In fact, anything that helps my sanity on this forthcoming install is gratefully accepted! mac
