I don't loose files that's why I don't understand. Do you mean *.vue files? Maybe you saved it in the wrong directory? Do you remember the names so that you can do a search with the "DEMARRER/RECHERCHER/FICHIERS OU DOSSIERS" (in french) under Windows?

each time i save a .vue file on network drive, the file is corrupted, half saved. It's only happen with vue. For exemple, the .bak file is 170Mo, then after a new save, only 6Mo. Sometime I could only perform a rendering, all the screen keep white and all menus are disable. If I put the file on C:, it works. I checked my network and all is ok. Thanks for any suggestion Laurent

I don't have Vue on drive C. I have it on D and I save my *.vue files in another directory on drife F. No problem:-)

As a matter of fact, most of the time a save my vue work on my home net. Never had any problem with that. Whatever the size of the file. There must be something wrong with your network. Never forget that network savings always last longer than disk savings : average ratio 6 to 1 (depending on your hard drives and the speed of your network). You can always first save to disk and the save somewhere else over your network. That will be safer.

Hi, it sounds like a network runtime problem. Wich means, that your computer where Vue is active sends the datas faster than the network drive can receive them. This only becomes "visible" with big files. And if you think that Vue has to do a copy job first (to make the .bak file) before starting to save this process is a little complex and can confuse network computers. I have seen so many problems with saving files through a network over the years that I always save the files localy first and copy them then manually to the network drive. Walther
