Window in rhomboid pattern. You should not always stand "en face" of an object to get what you like. I'm curious about your comments...

Nice composition here like the shapes in the window repeated in the wood in the brickwork. You could try and work on the contrast the shadows they are very dark and the hi lights very bright makes the picture very hard on the eyes. Might also try some colour shift it had a very yellow cast to it. Hope these are the type of comment you are after. :O)

I like the interesting angle it does make a good composition with interesting shapes. I can see what Jeff means about the light & colour, was this taken in really bright sunlight or is there some intentional postwork here? The contrast seems to emphasize the shapes to me.

Jeff, Bev, thank you for the comments. Actually, that was a late afternoon shot with the low angle of the sun. I think that is the reason for yellow-red tones. I used my "heavy old" Vivitar 200mm tele-lens to take this photo, and the aperture was maximally closed. Shutter speed was 1/1000, but the amount of light was again too much even with this aperture. I did a postwork, diminished the light, and increased the saturation and contrast a little. I think the final overcontrasting increases the geometrical appearance.
