i put a mike figure into a scene and then needed another one. guess what? only the hip showed from the second figure. it was better in poser 4 as i could cover the hip with clothes. anyone else get this problem yet?

I had something occur like this in Poser 4. Here is what happened. 1) I created CROSSTALK IMMUNE figures by creating a full body morph target for each one because the image had 4 Millenium figures in it. 2) I set up Mike and Vicki. All was fine. 3) I set up one cherub on one side. All was fine. 4) I set up another cherub on the other side. His hips disappeared. No amount of starting over, importing, etc, could bring his hips back. I ended up postworking them in. ;)

I've had bits of figures disappear in P4 many a time. The best solution was always to shut down Poser and reboot the machine. :] Fish

Not really a crosstalk issue. The memory settings in Windows can cause it, thats why rebooting usually takes care of the problem. Another way is to go into your Windows memory settings, change then, then change them back to what you had before. This USUALLY will force Windows to reset memory usage. This is more of a problem in XP than other version. I've used the multiple character with differently named morphs, and while that corrected the creal crosstalk problem (morphs from one figure overriding anything else on the second), it didn't elp the missing hip problem. Even when I exported the objectfigure in question as an object, and imported it into Bryce or Vue, the hip was still gone. Hope this helps.
