Airborne gets a bad rap much of the time, it seems.... You should see their sorting hub in Wilmington, though! It is an impressive and complex operation. And it's all run by little elves!

I've heard of "getting lucky" but not with charms!
Before they made me they broke the mold!

Umm. They looked like elves to me. Golly. I guess I should have asked, instead of making the assumption. First Cheez-its, now Lucky Charms.... This forum is making me hungry.... It really is an impressive hub, as hubs go.

Yeah, get this - They attempted delivery 2 days in a row while I was home, but I never heard from them. I called Airborne and they actually said - OK, I'll put a note in for them to ring the buzzer. So let me get this straight - They come up to my apartment building and whaddayaknow- there's a locked door on the front of it. Must mean nobody is home. I'll come back tomorrow - maybe the door won't be there next time. I Called them after I saw on-line that they had "Attempted" delivery - and threw a #$%^ fit (yeah, it's not nice, but it gets the job done with these briantrusts). I made them redeliver it that night. I hate having to be jerk, but I find that with them, you have to be to get anything done right. Sheesh. Aharon
What amazes me is when delivery companies can't find my house. It's the only house on the block, fer cryin' out loud. Yeesh. The best one, though, is the day I stayed at home, waiting for a delivery from the people with the brown trucks (you know who they are) and I found a yellow delivery attempt notice in my box when I checked my mail (the mailbox is attached to the house halfway up the front stairs) that said they'd attempted delivery, but I wasn't home. BUT MY FRONT DOOR WAS WIDE OPEN FROM 9 AM TO 8 PM that day!!! ARGHHHH!!!! Kate (who has actually had them stop and knock on my door to ask for directions to my house. Guess they couldn't see the lighted numbers next to the front door or the large black numbers painted on the curb on both sides of my driveway.)
Ha. Just picked it up at the airport office. Good thing it's shrink wrapped hugh?

Airborne failed to deliver my p5 today because, (get this) they couldn't find it. Ha! I guess the oversized 40643 in black letters on huge white blocks which I have nailed to a tree at the end of my drive didn't help clue them in. To avoid damaging any critical parts of some drivers brain, I'm going to go pick it up at their office in Charlotte tomorrow. Doh!
