Does anyone know a good to create 3D-Letters in Photoshop? Is there any PlugIn you could use? Any software?

ULEAD has a pretty good "stand-alone" app that does 3D type. You can check out the Product Info and download the 15-Day Trail Demo
to see if it's what you're looking for. The cost is around $44.95-(US)

It now imports Illustrator files so it does more than 3D text...

Go to the Adobe studio site, join, click on downloads for photoshop, go to actions, text effects, and you'll probably find several actions which will create 3d looking letters. You'll have to search, this is a HUGE resource for actions, brushes and other photoshop and adobe stuff.
