Subject: Toon node

Is anybody getting satisfactory results with the toon node? I have to confess I'm a teensy bit dissapointed with it. (Unlike the rest of P5 which I'm pretty darn happy with.) The biggest problem is that it isn't really a cel shader at least it's not like any I've used. Even after tweaking every variable available, the characters come out looking more like those hand painted european comic books than animation cels. Not a bad effect, but not exactly what i'm looking for. The worst part is the outline is absolutely wretched...If you set the thickness high enough to show up, it causes artifacts on inside lines. :( What does it need to be a decent cel shader? The ability to set the number and intensity of bands a highlighting parameter parameters for Outside and inside line thickness. Is it possible for third parties to write shader nodes for P5?

Not sure if this link will help or not, but I remember seeing some detailed stuff on the Toon shader here. Good luck! -Tim
