I'm just curious how long poser users have used poser 4? I mean how long you used it as a art tool. Just wondering.

Two, maybe three years, but only in the past year have I really delved into it with any great depth.

I have used it since Poser 3, which I used for as long as it was out too... it's indispensable! :) But doesn't asking the question go against your very name? Just could not resist that one! ;) Lyne

Since it came out. Still using it. Because it is going to be a while before I can afford to upgrade to p5. By that time some of the dust and flaps will have settled down.

July '99, paid $255.95 for the full Poser4 Mac version, bought it direct from Meta Creations, I checked two or three other places first and they were sold out!

When it first came out. Not sure if it was 98 or 99. Ron

I bought my copy on August 1, 1999. Happy day!

Cage can be an opinionated jerk who posts without thinking.  He apologizes for this.  He's honestly not trying to be a turkeyhead.

Cage had some freebies, compatible with Poser 11 and below.  His Python scripts were saved at archive.org, along with the rest of the Morphography site, where they were hosted.

Since January 98 or so (Poser 3) Upgraded to P4 when it became available from Metacreations. Doug

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

Just about a year. Started out with a copy that I suspect was warez in Oct. 2001 (picked it up at a yard sale), then bought a legit one in Nov. 2001. Best software investment I ever made.

I pre-ordered my Poser 4 so I've been using it since it was first released.

I went against my own personal policy and bought it when it first came out (I almost never buy software when it's first released, because of defects that need to be ironed out). As a registered Poser 3 user, I had received a splashy mailing from MetaCreations and it was just too neat to pass up because clothes could actually conform and move with the figures. Melanie
