This is a great piece! The musculature is phenominal! Does the figure have any morphs to change it's appearance? Where will it be available?

MallenLane ( ) posted Tue, 24 September 2002 at 9:21 PM

It has 8 full body morphs to increase the muscularity, neck blends, back fins, and 47 morphs per head to change the shape, fins, etc. Full erc posing for the necks, tail, tail tips, and tongues. The heads in the image are using morphs, they all start out at a default. It will be available at Daz.

Looks very cool! Must be the year of the reptile, first the Mildragon, then Curio's dragon and now this! Is a barding pack in the works too? hint ;-)

Good gawd... Mallen gave me a sneak preview of the untextured beastie, with three differentheads on it (morphs, I assume) - a snake, a dragon, and a "chicken"... but I had no idea it would turn ut this AWESOME... my gawd, I feel like such a wannabe now...

April: No, the first image is Lightwave. This one is Poser, done with a similar light preset, clustered to fake an area light. All the actual page ads are were rendered in Poser4, but I render my own work in LW. The shadings basically the same, I just prefer LW's sharper texture handling. Probably more like it would look in Bryce. Poser4 blurs them in the render process. I dunno about Poser5, I don't have it.

Heh Val.. the "chicken" was just me playing with morphs. The heads all load in with a default state. I'll attach the chicken picture so people know what you are talking about hehe.

Ooooo - ahhhhh - fantastic creation. A great model and a marvelous texture. Wow - your first render is a good inspiration for getting Lightwave - incredible sense of light and tactile surface. Love the chicken! :-) -dg

You already know how I feel but I'll say it again: INCREDIBLE work. And Mab, that texture map kicks some serious ass :D

Thanks for answering my questions. THis is a definite must-have. BTW, let me chime in also about how nice the texture is too!

Staby ( ) posted Wed, 25 September 2002 at 11:55 AM

Wow! It is fantastic, I love this! You two did a great work! I'm definitely going to buy it. Any chance you could model a whole set of morphing dinosaurs. It would be great to have dinosaurs with full body and face shaping morphs to tranform them in fantasy creatures. I wish I could make some progress with Lightwave too... I just can't find the time after my day job :(

nikitacreed ( ) posted Wed, 25 September 2002 at 12:09 PM
