bobasaur, good idea, but these are random faces, with tweaking, and using the putty tool, I don't know if I could actually do one that represented someone!

Hmmm. I'm not thinking about accuracy, I thinking about the fun factor. I've recently been tempted to suggest an unofficial contest where we did portraits of each other based people's online personalities. If it was done in a spirit of good-natured fun it would be neat. However, if anyone has a "bad day" for whatever reason it could end up becoming a trollfest and I wouldn't want that so I haven't suggested it. I'm not an artist - at least not in the sense of most of the people I see here. I tend to use humor or exaggeration to compensate for my "artistic inadequacies." This picture demonstrates a real neat potential P5 offers a guy like me. Thanks for sharing it.

I might have an "almost" head on shot on one of my archive CDs but I couldn't get to it till tomorrow evening. Pokeydot, My wife can't stop giggling. My son claims he's going to have nightmares. I was afraid to show my 7 year old daughter. In other words, GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is sooo cool! This type of art is ideally suited for those heated threads we have every few months where no one is going to win. You know the ones; the Mac. vs. PC threads and the "my country is better than your's" threads and the "yes, but is it art?" threads. BTW, you didn't put your "sallie richardson 2002" on mine. I guess I'm not quite official.

Not till P5 for the Mac comes out. I suspect the face room will be one of the first of the new features I mess with. The fact is, even when I learn how to master the controls of the hair, I'm not a hair designer. I expect I'll still rely on services like those provided by Master Kozaburo. The collision looks neat, too but the simple act of changing the faces more dramatically will give me a much better ability to tell a story. Characters are critical. Special effects are not.

I've still got a major animation to finish and it'll probably be another couple of months before it's done. I won't make any major changes to any of the software packages I'm using for it until it's done. Then, I've got some major upgrading to do.
