As I do not have P5 I'm not sure if this is doable, but I DO have cats and their fur does not stand out like this, it's much more flat (of course I guess you know that as well) But the point is that IF it is possible, try laying the hair down wo that the overlap. This way the skin won't show (as much) and the appearance will be more lifelike :o) But it's kinda cute though, not THAT ugly after all ;o)

Yes there is ... gradiant bump I believe ... look in the hair color material folder. I was working on a cat too. Used a displacement map. I think a combination of the displacement map and hair might work. I just thought that it would take too much resources to do it all in the hair room. Good job so far. Really. Boni
