For now, that's the only way to do it in Poser: morphs or magnets, unless you want to experiment with the cloth simulator. Gives us something to look forward to in Poser 6, though.

Little Dragon, I tried to make poser body into dynamic clothing several times with obj export/import it back in. Clothing room won't accept it, probably it is because of weld thing is still in it. Please post here how you did it. Waldoo

Hi wolf, I just got P5 and haven't installed it yet, so I cannot answer the question directly. However, if it's a piece of functionality that you would like to see or to see improved in any way, consider posting it in the wishlist thread on the OT forum (link above). Developers on the DAZ program are most definitely aware of this thread and so are other parties. If CL themselves aren't paying attention then that will be very much their loss. There was a related thread in this forum, but I think it has already been buried under a couple of hundered posts. Bill

Thanks!!! We will all be watching the development of this new DAZ program very closely :-)

Waldoo:

I exported the entire figure as a Wavefront .obj, with only "Weld body part seams" enabled in the export options dialogue. When I imported the .obj, I had only "Weld identical vertices" enabled in the import options dialogue. Then I took the prop into the Cloth Room and started playing around.

Thank you Little Dragon. You probably want to try collison friction in #4 Dynamic Control, it will stop clothing from going through other clothing. There are two different type of clothing collison in P5. Waldoo
