Depends, what is your system's capabilities? memory. HD, free space, processor.. etc.

Hi Do you have Poser4 or 5? I dont think it works with P3. Otherwise what AGabriel said. I am also puzzled as to how you got it for $20.00 and also the 2.1 version number- I guess I had better see what's up at Daz about an update to V2.0! Eric Walters

Well I have v4 of poser, vickey has a version 2.1 here and I bought it and its giving me this ran out of memory error crap.

Tashar59 ( ) posted Wed, 25 September 2002 at 8:54 PM

The only time i"ve had that problem, the geometry is in wrong folder/folder name. Check to make sure it is where it needs to be. Tashar 59

Did you buy the "upgrade" or the full version?

I came, I rendered, I'm still broke.

guitarguy774 ( ) posted Wed, 25 September 2002 at 9:26 PM

Its a full version sturkwork oh btw I love your models lol well it didn't come with any geometry files

EricofSD ( ) posted Wed, 25 September 2002 at 9:35 PM

hehehee, ok, I suspect its giving the memory error because it cant find the geometry files. Sounds like you bought some texture or morph for the Vickie 2 and need to buy the actual geometry model from DAZ. you can get V2 lo res for cheap and use your stuff with it.

VirtualSite ( ) posted Thu, 26 September 2002 at 2:30 AM

Should I ask a silly question? Version 2.1? There's a 2, of course, but I've not heard of a 2.1. Did I miss something?

creativechaos ( ) posted Thu, 26 September 2002 at 2:37 AM

Ok...I know of Vicki 1, Vicki 2 and Vicki 2 Lo Res....what's up with 2.1? I was just on the DAZ site and can't find a single thing that mentions Vicki 2.1!?

The only things listed for twenty bucks are texture maps, save for lo-rez Vicky. What did you buy, bud?

You say it didn't come with any geometry files, so it must be a tex map set or character morph. You'll have to buy Vicky 1 or 2 in order to make it work.

This: http://store.daz3d.com/catalog/product.php?pidx=89&paridx=0 ...is Victoria 2.0. Underneath the ad itself you'll find a comprehensive listing of most of her related products and/or other versions of her. Going on what others have replied...I believe you might have gotten a texture/morph FOR Vicky, not the actual model itself. I hope everything works out! -Des

Hmmm...I just remembered an older post of yours...did you buy this?? http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=556 Wyrmmaster's Voluptuous Vicky requires the DAZ3D Victoria model to work friend...says so right on the product page :(

jonfe ( ) posted Thu, 26 September 2002 at 6:37 AM

I think that you are talking about wyrmmaster's Voluptuous Vickey 2.1 not DAZ's Victoria 2... If this is the case then you MUST own DAZ's Victoria to use Voluptuous Vickey. I'm not sure, though, if you can use the original Victoria version, which is cheaper but limited (in terms of morphs) compared with Victoria 2 (both can be purchased at www.daz3d.com). Voluptuous Vickey 2.1 is an add-on character not a stand-alone one (check out its product page for requirements). Jon

Ooops, cross-post with Desdemona... Sorry... Jon

guitarguy774 ( ) posted Thu, 26 September 2002 at 4:35 PM

Actually it is a stand alone character but I found out that you have to have the flip hair and her clothing pack but I'm not gonna pay like 60 bucks for like 10 bits of clothing its rediculous.

I think he means this (link) in which case the answer is that now you need to go here: http://store.daz3d.com/catalog/category.php?cidx=4 And hand over another $20 to get the object file that comes with Victoria, you can't use what you've just bought without it. You only need Victoria1.0, but that same $20 will also get you a low-res version of Victoria2.0, if you want the bikini to work, you'll also need the clothing pack here: http://store.daz3d.com/catalog/product.php?pidx=223&paridx=69 Which will rush you another $35 and thats before you've bought any hair... The smart thing to do is drop $69, buy the Victoria2.0 CD and save yourself $100, then you get the full Victoria2.0, hair, texture and clothes. The only problem is you'll need a lot of memory (I've got 512Mb) to use them all at once. If all you've got is 128Mb you're out of luck, hair or texture only, not both. later jb
