Subject: Sketch help please

SophiaDeer ( ) posted Sat, 28 September 2002 at 9:24 AM ยท edited Fri, 29 November 2024 at 7:03 PM

Hello,

I feel like a dummy again. I have PoserProPack and never used the sketch for render.

I downloaded some sketch presets, placed them in the appropriate folders but when I use the sketch option the same type of sketch keeps coming up.

I have several different presets in the folder and do not know how to access them.

I would appreciate some help with this please.

Thank you in advance.

Warm Regards,
Nancy Deer With Horns (SophiaDeer)

Hi, Just go into the Window menu, choose Sketch Designer and then pick which preset you want. When you find one you're happy with, just close the Designer window and it'll render with that choice.

Look under Menu>Window>Sketch Designer, then choose from the presets dropdown menu. -Jeff

Nancy, I'll answer your next question before you ask it! To disable the camera names in the top left hand corner of your render, go to the Display menu and uncheck the 'show camera names'...

And I'll answer another question before it's asked. To render an image bigger than the document window size, render a one frame animation as an image file using sketch settings.

Yeah, it always comes up "Sketch Default" or some such... you have to pick one from the drop down. And after you pick one and close the designer window, that becomes the sketch default for that session til you pick another one. Still, that's a fantastically neat toy - it's my favorite part of poser 4, bar none. I've spent er.... I'm embarrased to admit how many days I've shot completely doing nothing but playing with designing sketch presets. ;] Btw, I have a set of presets customised from other bases in the RDNA freebies, and a tutorial thread on blending sketch renders with other render options in post in RDNA's D.S.L. Lab forum, if you want somethings to play with getting started. There's some other render presets in freebies here and at other sites also. I'm afraid I don't have much on specifics of designing presets, really. It's mostly trial and error for me. When I find one that works, I save it and then experiment again.
