YAY!!! I missed that post completely :( I'll have to go through the old messages and look for it. I'm glad that he's fixing it, I love P3dO and like I said in another string, I use it almost daily. Does anyone have any idea why it works fine sometimes (for hours) and other times crashes in 2 seconds though?

He already fixed problems go get the newest version. I would be totally lost without his program. :-)Thanx LilWolff...that's probably the issue is I have an older version of it...Hence why I'm having problems on XP Pro and Prime1 isn't... And I'm with you LilWolf, I use it all the time.

P3DO crashed on my XPHome constantly, but I grabbed the latest version and all is okay now. One of the problems seemed to be folders with a file with no .rsr or .png. Then there would be folders with .pngs that it didn't like. The crashes were always graceful though. Windows would close it and I'd just run it again. I just use it for making pngs from rsrs and rsrs from pngs. I keep both rsr and png. don't ask.
Spit, I'm glad to hear that all is ok now. It's always difficult to figure out why a program crashed on a machine. I fixed severall things with 1.5.4 and 1.5.5, some about NT/XP itself and others about some .rsr that P3dO didn't like at all. My goal is above all to have a stable P3dO so if anybody on this forum experience troubleshooting with my software I'll do my best to fix the prob. Just drop me a line and I'll help you. It has been a long time before I fixed the "crash on NT" problem but altough I add some reports about it I didn't own NT myself and wan't aware of the disaster. When I first ran P3dO on my XP machine I felt really sorry and 1.5.4 shipped out soon afterwards - and Lilwolf was the beta tester ;) Sorry for the crashes but really it was difficult to solve without a NT machine. I know there are still many things to improve like the file selection and Copy/Paste. I should have fixed the copy/paste for long but I was first worried by the crash, the selection is difficult to do and not "Poser productive" so just be a little patient ;) The best thing to do for now is to run 1.5.5 which is the most stable release. As well for pictures conversion please use the lastest Rsr2Png release 1.0.5 (R2) which is available with the 1.5.4 plugin pack. This release fix the transparent .png problem. Yarp

You are welcome serpentis. :-) The zip viewing feature has enabled me to put on cd a lot of poser items that I don't use all the time, but want to keep. Is easy enough to reinstall when I want to use them. Trying to tame my poser libary beast, seems to be a constant on going task. Between bought and free items it has taken over my one hard drive and it just keeps growing. While this does present more work for me, it also says a lot about the quality of free items and the affordability of new products to compliment poser. Yarps program is a real blessing, while trying to keep some kind of organization to taming my poser beasties. :-)
LilWolf - Yarps program IS a blessing. I use it on a daily basis. Yarp - Thank you for creating the program. It is quite useful. :) I will download the newest release of P3dO and see what happens from there. If I have any problems with it, I'll e-mail you.

Yarp is good to see you, looks like we posted at same time before. I am usually a silent visitor here, is just to hard for me to keep up with everything. But could not let a fellow user suffer when I now you worked very hard and fixed everything for us. Glad to hear you are creating more goodies for P3dO. Is still working like a champ for me. As always take good care of you and remember to take that break from all that working every now and then. :-)
Well I just downloaded 1.5.5 and it seems to be working WONDERFULLY!!! Thank you so much Yarp. :) I have been using this program since I can remember (heh, back when I didn't even understand half of what Poser was about) and I've loved it since I had Windows 98!

Serpentis, you're welcome. I love P3dO too you know ;)) Crescent, I did a fine "Are you transparent ?" test on .png conversion. I guarantee this fix is a solid one. I also included that test in Edit picture function but with next release only. I had read many thread on such a prob in PPP until Geep reported it to me and we found the reason and though the solution.

Yep Crescent, I got it. It was just an explanation on how I fixed that bug - just some weeks ago. ... but I appreciate happy user comment, of course. They give me the will to continue. My turn to say thnaks for this ;) Spit, I didn't mean to blame you for not reporting that bug. The fact is I'm not always aware of P3dO weakness, that's just what I wanted to point out. In the end. You thought that all was said, and I thought that all was ok. Maybe I should have a bug list on my web page so that people could check if their problem is under progress ? Yes, that's a good idea, I'll do that.

A bug list would definitly help people know what to send you and what is already being taken care of yarp. :) Great idea...and I'm with everyon eelse. Now that I upgraded to the newer version, it's working better than ever (even runs faster too!)

I've been using P3dO a lot lately to move files around and create the rsr files for stuff made with ppp and it keeps crashing after doing a few things...or more recently tonight, on opening a specific folder...I can use it sometimes with no problems for hours and sometimes for 2 seconds? Is this an issue with P3dO and XP or is it just a bug with it not liking not residing on the C drive? I know I have enough memory/speed to run the program (I've got a 1.2ghz AMD t-bird and 512DDR ram with a GeForce 3 w/Detonator 40 drivers)
