You can link to your old Poser 4 runtime folder and use them immediately without reinstalling them. Just double click on the "folder up" symbol in the library until you reach the top level. (You will see a "Poser 5" and a "download" folder) Click on the plus sign to add a new runtime. Point to your Poser 4 runtime in the dialogue box that appears and it will be added as a new runtime. You can of course re-install everything into your Poser 5 runtime as well. I will do that, but it will take some time... Until then, I access the old stuff via the method above.
True... If I had to uninstall Poser 5, I would copy the runtime first! I suppose renaming the runtime before running the uninstall utility would keep it on your disk as well. I prefer to keep everything in the same runtime to avoid having to switch between them when working. But that's just my preference :-) The new library structure in Poser 5 gives everyone lots of opportunities to create their own way of working.

cant seem to find the info in the book. I want to use all my daz etc stuff in p5. can anyone help?
