That high pass technique is a gem. I've been playing with it for the past few minutes with great results. Thank you! As an added tip, always view your image at "acutal pixels" full size when using sharpening techniques, because the prog's antialiasing prevents one seeing accurate details when the image is viewed any smaller. Someone recently posted a large list of very helpful tutorial links in the Photoshop forum, here. I'd recommend exploring those sites and bookmarking the ones that interest you. More info than anyone has time for!
