I'm working on this character... she's armed with both a sword and a shotgun... I need a shotgun bullet belt if anyone has one? Or can make me one that goes from her shoulder to her hip. Comments welcome - remember it's still in production.

Can anyone tell me who made these wings?! I can't remember LOL! Also if anyone has a cool transparancy map or anything for these wings I'd much like to know

there's a bullet belt in the freestuff, i believe. Try putting int the word belt at the search option.

They look like Hokusai's wings.. No idea for trans or anything, though. =) Rosh

I messed with those wings last night. I had downloaded a character called Demonica, don't remember who made her, but I found she was a P3 fem and I wanted a P4 fem and I had those wings but had never figured out how to get them connected to the figure. The wings geometry file is called Anton's People. I did figure out how to get the wings connected to the fem. I tried remapping the wings in UVMapper and got a better map out of them but now I'm not sure what I do. I saved both the new map and the obj. Do I replace the old obj with the new and go from there? If someone could tell me what I do from there I've got a decent large map that I could start texturing.

I think u would have to replace the obj file... but u'd better back up the old one incase it doesn't work... but it should do. If you make a good texture for em gimmie a shout :)

The ammo belt in the freestuff section is for a rifle... I need one for a shotgun... ya know with those big red casings attached

Dreamspinner ( ) posted Sun, 26 March 2000 at 3:35 PM

Spike, you don't think that I have to somehow create a new CR2 for the obj? That's what I was afraid I'd have to do. I can send you the new template I made last night and the obj for you to fool around with. I'd like to make a texture for these wings because I've noticed a lot of people using these wings but no texture on them.

-SpiKe- ( ) posted Sun, 26 March 2000 at 3:48 PM

As far as I can tell the CR2 file only tells Poser where to put the file and what textures are on it etc... the texture co-ordinates are contained within the OBJ file so it should work. But if u want me to mess around and see what happens then send me the files please: spike.mail@proweb.co.uk Another thing u could do is simply import the new wings OBJ and make ur own library object using ur textures etc. That will make it's own CR2 & RSR file.

-SpiKe- ( ) posted Sun, 26 March 2000 at 3:49 PM

DOH! Talking through my arse again... the CR2 file also tells it where all the joints are etc...

-SpiKe- ( ) posted Sun, 26 March 2000 at 3:53 PM

so in essence importing the OBJ file would be a waste of time unless u wanted to go through putting all the joints back in.

Dreamspinner ( ) posted Sun, 26 March 2000 at 3:53 PM

I don't know about editing or creating joint parameters and Phi files. I'll eventually learn, but right now that's beyond me and I'm trying to concentrate on learning PSP to make textures with. I'll send you the files and see if it works for you. If just replacing the object file makes it work with the new template I generated, then I'll load it up too and start trying to paint the wings.

okidoke! :) I'd make textures for em but I'm not too good at it yet... especially when trying to make transparency maps... would be cool if a nice feathery transmap could be made for the wings

Dreamspinner ( ) posted Sun, 26 March 2000 at 4:25 PM

Oh, you are asking a lot! But, then so do I. I've only made a couple of transparency maps for clothing. My only attempt at doing hair was a flop and I've not tried it since, even though I need to keep at it. Who know, maybe between us and others who get involved, we'll get a good texture map.

Virus modeled the wings and Phil H. recontructed them into a posable figure. -JH.
