Yes it is free. You will get an email almost immediately with your password.

Is there an English version of the site?

The download section of the site is in English, as is the index page. I'm told the Japanese advisory (when you sign up) basically translates to "your password will be e-mailed to the address you provided." Apparently people were abusing BAT's CGI, which led him/them to require registration. The e-mail adress you provide will be your logon ID. You'll be sent an impossible-to-remember password. :-) You can trust BAT ... you won't be SPAMmed. And for the one or two people out there who don't already know, BAT lab clothing is top-quality. All of it is for female characters, Posette, Vicky, and I think a couple of MilGirls items (no Judy stuff yet.) Be advised that most of it is quite sexy, and some items are bondage-oriented. Avoid the site if that stuff offends you, although you won't encounter any explicit images, as I recall. Just cute "pinup" style images. BAT clothing could easily sell for top dollar (or Yen,) but it's still free. Yet again for those who don't know, there's a marvelous neo-witch outfit at BAT, just in time for Halloween!

Yeah and the new download is really fun to playwith. :)

If it wasn't free I would have bounced this thread already :) Shame to hear about the DL abuse sigh. Apparently my site has been giving my bored sysadmin fun stuff to do - following links back and mumble mumble mumble. At this point she flinches everytime I update :) But that's the price you pay for doing DL's. And it can get very expensive to pay for hosting/bandwidth (as I well know) - so say nice things to the people whose stuff you DL :) Thanks for the link! Lyrra

how could anyone say bad things about Bat Lab? All the clothes I've downloaded from there have been excellent quality, I haven't used them all but they are here for when I get the inspiration ;)

Absolutely spot on there, C1rcle. Anyone complaining about Bat Lab should stop and look at what he gives away and then they should shut up ;)

I am a huge fan of all the BAT LAB stuff... I really hope they keep all their stuff ree, since this is really an alternative to the Marketplace $tuff Thanx for the reminder Facehugger

I've never seen anyone say anything bad about BAT specifically, although I've seen many criticisms of bondage-oriented Poser props and images. Oh well, if it's so awful, run away and live and let live. What I meant by CGI abuse was that, allegedly, people were being obnoxious/inappropriate at his message board, so he wanted a little more management control. I refuse to register at some Poser websites (SPAM paranoia) but at BAT's, it's a very small price to pay for such cool clothing. Yee-haw, that Western outfit's a cutie!
