Hi. I am doing a little testing on getting veins to look like they're popping out, and this is what I got. I did it very quickly using a bump map, and I know they are not in the correct place. (I will use some body-building pics or whatever for that.) Mainly, for certain buff characters, especially one that I've been working on for a while, I want to give them a "tougher" look. I'm sure someone has probably been doing this, but I didn't go looking yet, and besides, I've been wanting to do this myself for a long time, and just got around to trying it again. Please give me some feedback, because if it seemed worthwhile, I would like to give Mike and Vicky some of this, if other people are interested.

Looking good, but he's a bit scrawny aint he? I have seen only one other site do this for Mike with bum maps, posermale.com I think.

Thanks, but I was more concerned with the appearance of veins than working on musclature, which is pretty easy when using Mike2. I used this guy since he loads quicker, and so far, I don't have any maps for Mike2 yet.

looks good to me. steffyzz's "yuma" texture has viens, though I don't think they are bumped. the coloring on hers look great though. try using the dodge tool on the blue channel in photoshop on your tex-map, using your bump & low opacity as a layer for a guide... (I like the dodge tool/channels better than airbrush for some reason) Evo
