Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 15 2:13 am)
I have it, the animals are pretty cool and the textures are great but they suck at posing. I'm working on taking them into the pro pack setup room and re-doing them. They are really nice and I don't regret buying them, just wish whoever did them had done a better job at cutting them up for posing. Marque
Damn.............. I don't think I'll be buying this CD collection. At least not for use with Poser anyways. Perhaps I'll wait till I get $495 and get the De Espona 3D Enciclopedia 9 CD collection. Marge: How can you not regret the purchase if modest movements produce such horrific effects? Marque: I appreciate you taking the time to render and upload these images for me to see. I don't know how many models are on the Cd, but for the money being asked I would think that functionality of the models would be of more concern then the textures. Bummer......... I was really kind of wanting to get this CD. I'm always on the lookout for quality animal models. Anyhow, I appreciate your responces. Keep it frosty! proteus
I'm re-doing them, whoever set them up for poser didn't have a clue...too bad because the textures are great and the models are nice. Just can't move the head or legs or anything else lol I specifically asked the woman when I ordered them if they were good in Poser and she assured me they were. Oh well, live and learn. Marque
yeah sure, you re-do them now, but the CD still contains the 'unfreindly' models. One you get them re-done you should put them on a cd, or else pray you never need to recover from the original CD. (!) Perhaps after re-vamping these models to better suit the Poser application you might be able to contact the folks at Dedicated Digital and work out some kind of deal with them to get any future CD collections at a reduced price in return for the 'fixed' models from this CD. Thanks again for your help and effort.

For good quality animals, try Lyne Masamitsu's and Debra Ross' at Vista Internet Products. They have done some of the best Poser animals imho. Plus they're very nice and helpful people to deal with. I really recommend them.that does NOT look like a Clydesdale! Not even close. Looks like there are no blend zones set up. Should be able to do that fairly quickly even in regular poser, no? But not my area, really. Vista's stuff is lovely - very functional models, amd often with morphs and texture for many modifications, or for a little bit extra. So you're not getting 'a goat' you're getting twelve. Very nice. Drawback - no electronic DL, so be prepared fpr the shipping cost and time. Also Noggin, marketplace here, has some great smaller creatures - gecko, crab, lobster- that are extremely well made from what I've seen. And for a big horse, Bloodsong's Heavy Horse is excellent - looks right, moves right. She also has some great fantasy creatures - also very well built and easy to texture :) It's a shame to hear about the DD models though - they do look good.

I was thinking about getting the Dedicated Digital's Animal Kingdom Models CD. However, I was wondering if anybody out there has already purchased it and might give me an idea as to the quality of the models on the cd. There is only one 'free' model posted on the Dedicated web site, hardly enough for me to get an idea about the rest of the CD's contents. Also, I see that the models are in various formats, Poser being one of them. Can an owner of one of these Cd's please tell me if all the models come Poser ready. I found the site a bit vague about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
