Subject: importing gif files

is there anyway to import animated gif into bryce5

Hmmmm....never tried before. You should just be able to import the individual frames of the .gif and apply them in the material editor, you can animate materials. Go to the above site, there is a tutorial on "animation in scene" which should help. Instead of applying the picture to every 5 frames or so and letting Bryce interpret the rest you could apply to each frame every frame of your .gif

thanks say i have never used the animation part of bryce is there a tutorial on how to use it???
