Subject: Fern models in Poser (or Bryce)

I'm looking for Poser models of ferns in either Poser or Bryce format, it doesn't really matter which and I'm not particularly finicky about how they look. I can change them. I'm even open to a tutorial on making them. I tried searching for ferns here, but the only thing that looked like what I was looking for was a dead link. I'd be glad if anyone could help me with my problem. Thanks, Akril

Try PlantStudio, there are some example plants.
You can export the models as dxf and best of all it is free since some time.

Plant Studio also exports in .obj format and the .obj can be taken straight into poser. BTW, a weird thing I can't explain in Plant Studio. The color that affects the leaves, etc in Surface Materials is NOT the Object Color. It's the Ambient Color, for some bizarre reason. I've tried everything I can think of to change this, including editing the .mtl files. Can't get round it. Does anyone know why it does this? And, how I can fix it? mac

LaurieS did a beautiful forest image in Bryce and it has some beautiful ferns in it...ask her where she got the ferns...I'd like to know myself...

Those ferns are Bryce 5 trees it looks like. I've used the treelab to make ferns too using the palm fronds. Just shove the trunk underground.
