After looked at the entries on these challenge pages we wonder if it is necessary to have two zones in which people can enter? To us it seems there was hardly any difference between the quality of the pictures. In other words we feel that only 1 zone should be enough (they were all beautyful). After all it is no contest. We hope that we not have offended somebody by stating this ;-)

I agree with you that this month it was hard to tell the difference between Zone I and Zone II entries for the most part...... :~) If you stay around long enough you will see that there are people who are highly skilled here and those that are using point and shoot cameras and are just beginning. We feel that there is an unfair advantage to certain members if there is only one zone to compete in. Yes, we need two zones.

I am, therefore I create.......

I agree with Michelle. The two zones really do not represent any "quality" or "value" difference. Great results in both. More of a way to break any shy folks out of the woodwork.

yep- if it wasn't for the "beginner's zone" I might have been a bit "shy" to enter...my poor "point & shoot camera" hardly compares to what a lot of you are using............. still pining away for a digital

Heck, I can't even compete with a lot of the folks here!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA... Two thumbs up for two zones for me. :-) (*
