Here again one of my pics, it was inspired form a song text:

"In the deep heart of the forest,
lies a dragon, made of stone,

sleeps enchanted in the shadows,
by the water dreams alone..."

I will try to get the rest of the song into other pics but look at this, do you like it?

I think you need a comma in "by the water, dreams alone" there's an anticipated ceasura there that improves the flow the comma just helps set it off. I saw the pic yesterday I was wondering about the rest of the song because you kinda left it hanging. I like the soft lighting.

You're right, the text should have a comma in the last line. I'll give you the next lines of the song when i finished the picture for it....

I am curious if the next picture will provide more of a picture of your beautifully realized dragon....it seems premature cut off to me, and I would like to see more of it.

It's a strange picture. I keep looking at the "rock" and wondering if it's a rock fashioned to look like a dragon or a dragon made to look like a rock. It doesn't seem to be either one. And I think that helps make the picture. It makes me think that a person could walk through that forest and pass it by without knowing it's a sleeping dragon. It's a very nice piece of work.

It does show the great strength of light and shadow in a picture. More color would do nothing for this picture....the mood is set perfectly by the greys.

Very nice. I am unfamiliar with the program used to render this image so can't comment on any technical aspects. It does, however, bring to life the words from the song. Now I am waiting on the next line along with the next image.
