Heyas, I was wondering if any of the freestuff makers wanted to do a theme month? The idea - everyone make whatever they want that fits the theme of 'Halloween' or 'Spooky', and post it to freestuff. That's it really :) Lyrra

Lyrria There is a Halloween Modellers challenge going on all month on usenet. I've posted a morphing witchs hat, hangmans noose, executioners hood, & do-it-yourself decapitation kit over on alt.binaries.3d.poser & they'll be going up in freestuff at 3D Commune later this week.

Hey Lyrra! That sounds great. I have some scary sound fx and background music that I've been working on (different from my "Scary Places" Pak). It's not models or textures, but might be something for the animators. I'll get them up this week - gotta master 'em first. how's it goin', cooler? --Donnie

A proper bat house for safe propagation. The species I'm most familiar with eat mosquitoes and are thus to be encouraged. :) Sharen, I know that everyone else would want a belfry full of cobwebs, but this might be part of your country living genre. Has anyone done "a maze kit" for the marketplace or freestuff using greenery or stone? A lot of farmers cut their cornfields (maize) into mazes after harvest, and then charge tourists to go through them. Perhaps one of these modelers would be willing to make new texture maps of corn stalks and offer it up in the spirit of the holiday? Carolly

i'm all about some Halloween.....my character package (Roxy Toxxin) should fit right in to the "Spooky" categort......on top of that, i'm working on a motorcycle to go along with her.....and i'm certain i'll come up with something else before too long ;)

Definitly "costume" outfits for Vicki and the Mil kids would be sweet. Maybe a trick or treat bag? or a "carve your own" pumpkin set? You could do it with mix n match trans maps perhaps?

And for all us poor halloween-less scandinavians... Any good ressources of PICTURES of what it should look like?? (trick or treat bags for instance... are they just bags? Or special bags?) And I know what a pumpkin and a bat looks like... heh... but the rest?

I'm game :) My favorite holiday too. I'd like to see a posable guilloteen. Or a set of those old skool plastic eyes with the viens as props.

Characters ala "Nightmare Before Christmas". Jack, the Pumpkin King, Sally the Rag Doll, The scientist (with opening brain pan), the mayor, etc.
