just wondering, for those of you with dial-up and a 56.6 k modem, what are your download times?

I have a very slow connection of about 26.4 baud and download times for 1MB average about 10-15 minutes or longer. I'm hoping to get DSL soon, but its not available right now. You would think living near Dallas where they think they're so high tech, they would have the entire area hooked up. Corrupt downloads are a problem too.

56k modem connected at 36k download 3.3k rate took 4 hours for the complete Poser5 patch

I have a 56K modem and usually connect at 48 or 49.2 My downloads actually go pretty fast because I live in the North Georgia mountains which ain't exactly known for being the high tech center of anything....
