Subject: the mane attraction....

or at least an attractive mane. Joy of joys I figured out how to make beleivable hair. It's still a pain in the butt, but looks good. now to continue on making the rest of it to cover the neck & maybe an equivalent of a skull cap (neck cap?)

I'm very much a newbie to Poser...but one of the principal reasons I got it was for the animal models. Any hints on just how you did that mane ??

First I made a rectangle and mapped it to look like hair. the above section is about 20 of those rectangles bent into shape. I'll need over 100 rectagles before I'm done. right now it is just under 4000 polygons, so in the end I estimate it will be around 20,000 polys.

Yes when I first saw the hair room my immediate reation was - manes and tails finally! Great job Shadowcat!
