probebly rendered in 'normal' mode..objects that are small or thin dont often render well at that setting. As for lighting..try to light more of the background and less of the foreground to increase dept and 'feeling' of the scene...maybe a little reflection on the floor.. This would rock as homepage..:)
From the lesson that was taught to me by the forum people here.... You could plop render those rails in the distance on a setting of "Fine Art" and they would have a better chance of showing up. AgentSmith

On the monitor here at work the little guy blends in a bit too well with the floor and is a bit hard to spot. This may not be a problem with most people/monitors though.

airflamesred, Maybe turn it into an animation - the camera moving towards the webpage title.(any problems with the railing would be harder to notice.) Why is the avatar only 2" (he looks closet to 4" to me) tall? We should see him a little better? There is something about the archway lights where they meet the floor - maybe one or more of them should be greyer? or change their position slightly. It looks pretty good to me, - TJ
My gut reaction is that the Air Flames Red at the back does not draw my attention as much as the heavy pillars up front do. If your goal is to have that flaming wall be the main focus, I think you will have to darken up the building, especially the light from the other hallways. You might consider losing the last set of columns and making the wall bigger. You might also try making the wall throw more red light on the objects nearest it. I like the little guy up front. I'd like to see him stand out just a little bit more. The grandeur of it is really awesome. Do I dare ask about loadtime? :) Lin
Love that wall. Maybe darker scene with torch on walls to make the foreground darker & to really sell the back wall?
