All that I have done for the past three weeks in wings3d is there, basically from the very first model to the last. They're definetely Bryce oriented, as far as I am concerned. I've already been asked to include some on the Renderosity CD. My question is: Are they freebies or not? Granted, they could have a lot more details and so on, but I'm wavering into the idea of the marketplace. So, would anyone buy these things? Critique on them is always accepted, I just moved all of them to a different server because of the bandwith it was taking to download them (therefore the 0 counts on all). Thank you, Drac

Freebies or not freebies.. I wont pay for those models, but someone else may paid for them... so I think it's up to you to decide... Concernig the models.. they are too sharp-edges they look like very low poly models.. or unsmooth DXF.. but that's only my opinion. Cheers

I saw these in freestuff and thought they looked very nice, but I didn't download them, firstly because I have no way of reading .max format, and secondly I don't have any particular need for such models right now, and while that often doesn't stop me downloading things just in case, by and large, I suspect if I really need a spaceship in the future there will be something somewhere I can download that will be suitable, or I could make something myself without too much difficulty. So you can deduce that if I don't get them when they're free, I'm not likely to buy them in the marketplace. This is no way any criticism of the models themselves, which look good to me. But definitely not commercial.

I don't know about low poly models, pidjy. I suppose, for still work, it is, but what really is low? I took a look, and there were 9868 on the building 6 model. seems ok to me, but of course, as per usual, I may be wrong. on another note, they do look good, but unfortunatly, I have no use for them right now. perhaps in the future, if I find a use, I may download them, but I don't think I would pay for them.

first of all, they're 3ds models. and therefore their use for bryce. second of all, they're purposefully unsmoothed. that's just the way they are :)

I don't buy models, just build them or download some to have a starting point. Therefore I don't know if they are suitable for commercial purposes. But, nice models and good work. TT.

Drac, I say just pick your 5 most intensive models, and try them on the marketplace. It never hurts, and although 9 out of 10 business ideas fail, 10 out of ten fail if they aren't attempted! I don't have any plastic money, but if I did need models like these, I would say that many of them are excellent quality!
