Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 29 7:57 am)
Delete the actual materials that you don't want to affect, using the little delete button above the materials list. For any characteristic of an individual material that you don't want to affect, double click the label for that characteristic to disable it. If it's enabled, whatever value it has will be transmitted by the pose. If it's disabled, the pose simply won't affect that characteristic.

Yep, it is a great utility. I just discovered the current version last week. It's come a long way from the original version he released early this year. This is the first time I've found a MAT pose utility that I prefer over an ordinary text editor. It's the ability to work on multiple materials at once that swings it for me :-)

Yes, that's a nice feature too. It's a shame scourge had to go off to military service or I'd put in some requests for more pose types. Maybe I'll just have to write a utility for them myself. I really want something that does ERC poses without saving the morph settings at the same time.

Only 172 mornings left! Good news Ajax, the army isn't stopping me, just slowing a little. I'm creating a new major upgrade to MAT Pose Edit with plenty of new features and a faster and easier interface. The kind of poses Little Dragon mentioned will be supported but please post also your own requests. I'd like to know more about those ERC poses.
Any one can drop me a mail to ilari.pihlajisto@mbnet.fi to request new features. I'm available every second weekend (Friday to Tuesday) from now on.
Regards,
Ilari
Excellent! Thanks, Ilari. I'll put together a list of different pose types for you.

Hello I am if it is possible (and how to) use MAT Pose Edit to creat MAT file which only change specific parts of the body, and not all the textures. For example, if I wanted to make MAT poses simply for different eye colours, that could be used on many different characters. Can it be done to save the file so that it only applies to specific body parts like that? (if it can, can you please walk me through it a bit) Is it simply a matter of going through the different material groups and deleting the various texture maps and bumps applied to the parts I dont want to change? (or am I missing something...cuz it didnt seem to work that way for me...so maybe I did something wrong and need a quick walk through) (Again...I am using MAT Pose Edit software) Thanx Rawnrr
