Subject: Shadows in Global Ilumination Renderer

Hello everybody: A question to the group: From what I noticed in Global Ilumination renders (and some tests) .... Can you define the shadow (position, angle, etc.)? From what I see I only get a very soft-like shadow just beneath the object. Is there a way to move it, make it harder.. position it? Or do I have to add a spotlight or other light source and play with that shadow...? Was I clear...?

You can have some control over the lighting if you reduce the number of radiosity light sources (i.e., move your object away from other objects. You can use a directional light source which will help you some but understand that I'm still learning a lot about it myself. -Kixsupercool.gif
