Subject: Question/comment about Millie/Victoria eyebrow textures

I'm working on texturing those strange eyebrows that retract into the head and you have to reverse the "eyebrows in" dial to make them show up. (?) If I fill these eyebrows completely with dark texture, I will get sharp edges, almost as bad as if I had used "nasty object color". I'm guessing maybe the Millie eyebrow texture map should be flesh color with some hi-res eyebrows in the middle of the target area, but perhaps not touching the edges. This is after I had finally figured out that the solution for P4 was a photographic eyebrow texture with some Traveler "smooth brow" morphs. As someone who does mostly faces, I'm excited about the more realistic facial muscle controls on this new model, especially the forehead wrinkles, both between and above the eyebrows. Mapping the irises is a weird experience, because I'll find this great photo with gorgeous highlights on the eyes, and I will have to retouch them out so they will work better with Millie/Victoria.

The 'retractable' brows are for transparency mapping. The face tex map should just be a flesh tone or a base eye brow. Then the other brows float slightly above with a trans map to look more realistic. But they are quie large. Great for that bushy look. As time goes on I'm sure this will work beautifully. James

Thank you. I had heard something about this, but I didn't understand. Now I feel enlightened and a bit silly. :-) -Talos
