These did not come out quite as I has imagined. I may use one of these anyway for the Challenge, unless I get time to reshoot before the deadline.

These are pretty peacock feathers, Misha! I don't think I've ever seen them in this color before. :-) (*

A really delicate picture I like the fine lines in this have you tried a tighter crop? :O)

Sorry Bit rude not to explain my thought there. To me the picture is all about the fine lines of the subject and not the bizzy backdrop, I would try a tighter crop not sure... Hold on I will do it and see... Well you decide? :O)

Very pretty and yes...delicate. I like the crop that mysnapz has done, very effective I think.

This is quite beautiful and delicate! I like both images, the crop Jeff did does focus well on the lines of the feathers, and thus may well suit the theme better, but that may be just down to personal taste. Good idea for the theme anyway! :-)>

I like your crop, snaps.

Very beautiful & delicate Misha, I do like your original but I think Jeff's crop does put more emphasis on the backlighting theme.

I like both, although the original looks more delicate, seeing the wispy ends. Very nice image Misha :)

Uh. I still like the first one. To me too much has been removed by cropping. I don't think the background is busy, the background is simply a blur to me. I think however the feathers seem to have more contrast by isolating certain areas of the feathers but it was as the expence showing how delicate they are. And in my opinion leasining the beauty of the picture. Perhaps changing the contrast of converting the picture to a b/w would accomplish the same effect. Bsteph
