Here is my challenge so far. It spent 3 days rendering. I still have stuff to do here. The hardest part was the tree trunk texture. Everything is bryce, no post work for the first image, 50% photoshop filter overlay for the second.

The bark in the top image looks more realistic, rugged. You have a great perspective, lets you see how tall the trees really are. Oh yes, weird sky, but nice.

I like the bark better in the first one also, but either picture is very striking. I found the sky a little distracting from the trees, on my computer it looks like blotches of paint. Very nice picture.

ICK!! I am looking at this image on an older PC monitorand it looks like crap. The trees are really dark and the leaves have almost no color. Does anyone else see it like this? If so i'll post a brighter one.

My version on an imac look okay, the leaves are green (brighter near the bottom, darker at the top) and the trunks are a reddish brown. Lin

I see the same colors as Lin and they're lovely. You'll just have to get yourself a new monitor.

It looks fine on my mac, but I tried it over at a friend's house on his pc and it looked aweful. Thanks for the feedback.
