Hi guys! :) Just a short note to let you all know that Poserworld has aquired a new talented 2d & 2d artist for its future models after the coming update! Im sure Vikki will surprise you nicely with her additional capabilities (including html which was our weak point up to now) so I wish you all to give her a warm welcome! ;) As for myself, Ill no longer be involved or be a partner of Poserworld from October 31st, but Ill stick around as a simple member same as the rest of you and we wont stop being in touch from all our usual places around, this one being our favorite of all! :) This wasnt an easy decision to make, but I believe none is irreplaceable and there comes a time we all need to move on! :) Rena PS: My friendship with steve stays as strong as ever, the reason he wont reply to this post or any other himself earlier than next weekend, is because the lucky rascal is away on weekLY vacation to Barcelona! So.. no wrong assumptions please! :)

I'm very sad to read this, Rena. You and Steve were a winning team. And a sort of "historical landmark" of the Poser community... Steve-Rena was one of the things that you gave for granted in an everchanging Poser world! One was asked "think of the Poser community", and would reply "yeah... Renderosity... Steve and Rena... MorphWorld...", you know, the milestones! Anyway nothing lasts forever, and good luck and keep on producing your beautiful textures.

What to say ?? First a big big big (etc) thank you for all the power you settled into Fairywoods and Poserworld. Although I hope Vikki will fill the gap a little bit I know Poserworld lost not only a texturer ... I'm glad you're not retiring from creating...your vision and imagination would be missed, not to mention your lively, cheerful voice of encouragement that has kept some of us going who struggle a bit more than the rest (that would be me). Thanks, Rena, for all your contributions ... and I hope they don't end. That would be a loss to all of us. But it sounds as if the best is yet to come. :)

Well, I still think it sucks Donkey buttocks that you're leaving. One of the major attractions for Poserworld has been your textures and many times they've totally transformed the excellent clothing Steve does into something quite incredible. I for one am really going to miss your textures. OK, I appreciate that Vikki may be very good, we'll see. But it's your work that I've been collecting over the years and watched grow from early to now. Your work will be very sorely missed. Good luck to Vikki, I sincerely mean that, but while there'll be a party to welcome her there's still going to be a wake for you, and I have plenty of beer, wine and spirits for anyone who wishes to join in a farewell tribute. :) I look forward to seeing what you're going to get up to in the future and will be watching closely. smirk

...sigh... One of my favorite things is to see the new textures you've done at Poserworld with each update. I'd always look at the vibrant colors and detail as I moved them to my libraries... Now I'll have to watch closer than ever in the other stores for your sale items. If the new artist is half as good as you, they'll be wonderful, but those are awfully big shoes to fill. Good luck!

Poserworld is the place that started all this subscription stuff that the others are now trying to copy, including DAZ! You two should be proud. I'll keep my subscription just to support Steve :) Does this mean you have some time to work on some of my stuff? ;)

Goodluck with your new directions Rena and Steve :) Even though you've done a lot of growing together, sometimes it is better to forge ahead separately in order to grow more. :)
