The experiemental light set for Poser 4 that I mentioned a couple of days ago is ready and is in Free Stuff now. Thanks to Fishnose for hosting it for me! It's not a quick-fix solution to creating cast light, but I've found that it is a good start and can be effective if you take the time to carefully adjust the settings and falloff values. I hope you find it useful! Be sure to take a look at the readme files (there's a text and a graphic) for more help. Take care. :) SnowS Hoping his pictures are worth 1001 words [1001 Words](http://www.renderosity.com/homepage.ez?Who=SnowSultan)

Here's the readme file, so you have an idea of what it is before you download it. It's only 165K though. ;)

This is wonderful. I can't wait to try it...but I'm going to test run it in Poser 5 because I think it will be very handy to use there too.

This looks fantastic. This could also solve a few situations in images I've been wrestling with the past few days since I was able to get back to work. And CL couldn't think of something like this for P5? Especially since lighting was not improved one iota? Thanks, SnowSultan. CL should put you and a few other imaginative users on their payroll. I've been playing with and using your other lights for some time now. Your efforts are very appreciated. Thanks, again. Take care and be well. casamerica, A Pissed-Off Devil Dog Still Watching the Clock P.S. - My apologies to those reading and posting in this thread. Since my comment regarding CL was not one of exhaltation, praise or canonization, it is most likely this thread will be moved to the OT forum. Again, my apologies.

Thanks indeed!

Thanks, SnowSultan!

I did something like that for an animation earlier this year (needed to simulate lightbulbs), and it was a pain to set up manually.

casamerica ( ) posted Tue, 22 October 2002 at 9:30 PM

Yea, but I loved that animation, Little Dragon! Cute as hell and very well done. Take care and be well. casamerica

Thank you all for the comments, I hope this light set proves to be of some use to you. :) Wow Little Dragon, you really did come up with this same basic idea before! Great job, you'll probably be able to improve upon my basic set here. Take care! SnowS

Thank you all for the comments, I hope this light set proves to be of some use to you. :)<<< It already has, SnowSultan. I brought it into some images being reworked for various reasons and it truly altered the feel of the scene to more what I had been looking for. A more realistic blend of source lights. This is truly going to become one of my favorite toys. I want to thank you again. Take care and be well. casamerica

This is fantastic!! I've tried it and it works SUPERB. It's Nikitacreed's alienground, Catherina's campfire and a naked Mike ;) There are endless possibilities :)) Thanks SnowS J

Wow jaydiva, that looks better than some of the results I got testing it out myself. ;) Really glad to hear that it works well, thanks for posting that image! SnowS
