Subject: Websight update

gsalas ( ) posted Tue, 22 October 2002 at 1:58 PM · edited Sat, 18 January 2025 at 2:02 AM

I just redid my websight, and am trying to get some opinions on everything, ease of use, if it makes sence in the way it is set up, if the images give a good idea of the quality of my work, if the model section look good, what do people think of the kids section, if the forms are easy to navigate, and if any of you would find the "Composit Card" services useful, exc. Let me know what you think. Thanks, -Gabe-

Wow. Nice site Gabe. Definitely your site has improved. I liked it befor but now...WOW. Each image is filled with so many jewels. The b/w image in the travel section is worth visiting it alone. Um.. for a critique some of the images the sun is too bright so they look blown out, not sure about it but MAYBE a text of where the pictures were taken would be nice. All in all it's quite nice. ...incredible pics you have there pal. It surely can be seen who's pro, and who's not. Pages are simply and works, but one flaw(?) I find. Those links in bottom of the page don't fit the screen, can't be seen in my monitor(1024x768) without scrolling. Dunno did you mean it or not and don't know is it bad thing or not. It kinda works like this too, I scroll the screen a bit and have access to those links. Anyway, simple and nice pages, suites your purpose better than good. .n

Hello Gabe. Your website looks GREAT and is very easy to use. We agree with Antoonio on the scroling part. Try to make the pages fit a monitor setting of (1024x768) and you are set. It will give the visitor ALL the information to chose from. Your photo's are top of the bill in every department!

Highly professional if you ask me and nice and quick to due to the lack of fussy web graphics. Photography is top notch too!!

Thanks guys, I'll try to see how to get the links on the bottom up higher. -Gabe-

Like your site Gabe very easy to get round not fussy and cluttered. The images loaded in good time on my modem connection. I have a bigish screen and did not have a problem with the links at the bottom of the page.

Professional looking site Gabe...The "composititional and promo cards" page, I think you need to change peaces to pieces. I don't mind the scrolling bit, but sometimes people miss things if they have to scroll...I had to teach my brother-in-law about the scroll bars on the side of the screen, and I thought he knew a few things about computers... Nice work overall Gabe. :-)>

Hi guys, Punk, i just did the corection, thank you much, I hate spelling. I'm also working on the labeling the marine and travel images, but it is hard to referance some of the shots, so it is a bit time consuming. -Gabe-

Just updated and changed things around a bit is that better? -Gabe-

Antoonio ( ) posted Fri, 25 October 2002 at 12:54 AM

...nope, still can't see it, needs scrolling. And now pages look bit tight. Can you reduce size of the opening image and those links in left juuuust a bit? And maybe reduce size of the font in bottom links 1 or 2 points... But, Gabe, pages are actually ok, it's just me nitpicking. .n

I'll have it resized by later today, I'm on 1280 x 1024, and didn't realize how big the butons acualy were.

I havn't noticed anyone else commenting on the 'back' and 'next' links to go to different pages of the galleries, so I wonder if it's just me, but I would prefer to see them reversed. Also, perhaps find a script that users could click on to close the full picture version. Very nice site, though.
